Eccentric horse-faced character actress (1883–1942). During the 1930s, she was one of the best-known character actresses in American films, often playing tart-tongued spinsters. Oversized vintage matte-finish 11 x 13.75 Bachrach photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “With loving thoughts to Norma, Edna May Oliver 1939.” In fine condition, with some light creases to edges and corners, which could be easily matted out.
