Original 2.25 x 4 full-length carte-de-visite photo by Brady’s of New York, signed in the lower border in black ink, “Hastings Doyle, M General,” and signed and inscribed on the reverse, “To General Webb, with kind regards Hastings Doyle, M General, City Point, 9 March 1865.” In fine condition, with some light surface and silvering marks to image, and pencil notations to reverse.
