Two letters: TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, March 22, 1937, in part: “I’m only sorry you did not attend the President’s ball. Had you been there, and made yourself known, we might have danced a couple just for ‘couplets’ sake”; and one TLS to his tailor, signed “Bob,” one page, 7.75 x 10.75, personal letterhead, November 15, [1966], in part: “The picture here in Barcelona seems to be going quite well…except for the fact that nobody eats dinner here until around 9:30 or 10 at night…There is still a possibility that I may have to come back to Spain right after Xmas for another picture in which I’ll need the Navy-type uniform we talked about before.” Intersecting folds and overall creasing to the 1966 letter, otherwise overall fine condition.
