In part (translated): “I have appointed you Master of the Wolf Hunt in the Department of L’Ourthe. I do not doubt the zeal with which you will apply your skills, nor do I doubt your taste for the hunt whose purpose is to destroy harmful animals, particularly wolves.” Central vertical and horizontal folds (the vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature), light foxing and toning to lower portion of the letter, and light overall wrinkling, otherwise fine condition.
