In part: “Asking me to address the Men of Yonkers…I beg to say that on account of the great amount of official business on hand, and the engagements I have already made for the winter and spring, it will not be possible for me to accept the kind invitation.” Matted and framed by Goodspeed’s Book Shop in Boston, with a portrait of Taft, to an overall size of 14.5 x 13.
