Vintage matte-finish 10 x 13.5 photo, signed and inscribed in red fountain pen, “To Miss May Stanhope, Best wishes, Will Rogers, (County Chairman).” A noticeable tape-repaired tear to right border, scattered creases and small edge tears, light silvering to dark areas of the image, trimmed edges, and poor contrast to much of the signature and inscription, otherwise very good condition. Rogers appeared in the 1935 film The County Chairman, directed by John G. Blystone and written by George Ade. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
