TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, March 22, 1934. Letter to a gentleman looking for Parrish’s comments. In part: “I dislike publicity in any form and although some kind seems unavoidable I wish to avoid it as much as is possible. I do not want to seem disobliging but the constant request to say a few words, some smug platitudes, I consider downright silly.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and a mild shade of uniform toning.
