American sculptor (1847–1914) best known for her statue of Abraham Lincoln displayed in the US Capitol rotunda. Four items, two signed: one ALS, one page, 4.5 x 6.5, Washington, DC, September 19, 1874, thanking an admirer for newspaper clippings of an article on one of her works; one ink signature, “Vinnie Ream,” on a light pink 4 x 1.5 slip; and two unsigned original cartes-de-visite, one of Ream’s Lincoln statue and one oval portrait of Ream.
