First baseball commissioner (1866–1944). Landis was elected to office on November 12, 1920, and helped restore public confidence in baseball following the Black Sox scandal of 1919. Ink signature, “Kenesaw M. Landis,” on an off-white 3 x 2.25 card. In fine condition, with a couple trivial brushes to signature, some slight toning, and mounting remnants to reverse from previous display in a scrapbook.
