Letter declining a position. In part: “I am exceedingly glad to hear that the Winter Gardens at Leamington is to be an accomplished fact and am much honoured by your request that I should become a Director…I feel it is quite out of the range of my professional and scientific work to undertake such duties.” In fine condition, with some trivial soiling.
