Rare unused real photo postcard featuring a crisp vertical photo of the Titanic docked, captioned at the bottom: “S.S. Titanic. In Dock at Southampton.” The photographer’s name, “H. Symes,” also appears to the lower right. In very good condition, with light scattered surface marks, impressions, creases, and soiling, and an area of stray red ink to the top. This has become one of the most famous images of the Titanic, and has appeared in numerous books, newspapers, and magazines, including Life and Time.
