American songwriter and entertainer (1924–1973) best known for such hit song parodies as ‘My Son, the Folksinger’ and ‘Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh.’ Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint “To Tommy, Oh, boy! Allan Sherman.” In fine condition, with Sherman’s signature and portions of inscription a few shades light, due to decreased ink flow, but still completely legible. RRAuction COA.
