Original circa 1880s Chapman, Smith & Co. Baking Powder albumen cabinet card, 4.25 x 6.5, of legendary Union General and 1864 Democrat presidential candidate George B. McClellan. Sharp and clear image. As the back stamping indicates, this was given to purchasers of the baking powder. Pencil note on back, small portion of staining to the bottom of the front, otherwise light aging and wear. A lovely cabinet, doubly interesting as a product premium.
