ALS, in pencil, signed “F. Nightingale,” one page, 4.5 x 7, black-bordered personal letterhead, July 28, 1890. Letter to Mr. Morey. In part: “I meant the two Bird books for the same man. Because one has all the pretty pictures—& the other (By Stanley’s) has all the sense about the birds flying.” In very good condition, with light overall soiling and a central horizontal fold. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
