Original unsigned carte-de-visite portrait of Dickens, 2.25 x 4, by the London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company, bearing a pre-printed signature in the lower border. Collector’s notation on the reverse reads, “The last portrait taken of Charles Dickens—Bought at the Crystal palace June 11, 1870—two days after Charles Dickens’ death.” In fine condition, with a couple slight corner tip dings.
