Professional golfer (1893–1967) who at the 1913 US Open at the Country Club changed the perceptions of an entire sport with a stunning triumph. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. Ballpoint signature, “Best wishes, Francis Ouimet, ‘Golf Champion,’ 1913, 1914, 1931,” on an off-white 6 x 4 lightly-lined card. Also included is a black ballpoint signature from Ouimet’s caddy, “Eddie Lowery,” on a green 5 x 3 card. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
