Signed book: Memories and Commentaries. First edition. London: Faber and Faber, 1960. Hardcover with dustjacket, 5.75 x 8.75, 183 pages. Signed and inscribed on the first free end page to his friend and patron Lucia Davidova, “To you dear Lucia with love in 1961 as ever—I Stravinsky.” Also signed and inscribed on the illustrations page by co-author Robert Craft, who has also made a couple of interesting corrections and additions within the text in German and English. Book condition: VG/VG. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine; edges and spine slightly rubbed and yellowed; small stain on upper textblock edge; discoloration from non-archival tape on half-title page; tiny chip from upper edge of two pages; small seller’s sticker on rear pastedown. Dust jacket has some small chips/tears and creases at edges and folds (one slightly larger chip at rear upper edge near spine); slightly rubbed and yellowed; vertical crease down center of front flap. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
