ALS, one page, 9 x 6, stamped personal letterhead, November 2, 1904. Letter to a gentleman. In full: “Just now, I am working on a play—but expect to knock out a couple of short stories when I have finished play. I have done only 2 short stories since my return from Japan, one of which you saw—the other was merely a skit without merit.” In very good condition, with professional backing to restore complete vertical separation and several areas of paper loss. At the time of this letter, London was writing The Scorn of Women, a three act play. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
