I should be able to walk without pain for the first time in years, and my dream is to walk all over Paris. Although one doesn’t think of Paris as anyone’s ‘home town’, it is the place where my wife was born and raised. There is a lot of Paris in Veronique, just as there is a lot of La Jolla in me.
