Neil Hamilton

Leading man in the twenties (1899–1984) best known for playing Commissioner Gordon on the television series Batman. Two items: ALS, three pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 6.75, Ritz-Carlton Boston letterhead, no date, but postmarked March 25, 1946. A letter to an old friend. In part; “I would be delighted to see you, any night you can stop by—preferably after the performance…I remember your store on the corner—working for you—especially one Sat. night during which I was a model in your store window.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope; and a program page, 5.5 x 8.25, from the Colonial Theatre’s 1946 production of State of the Union, signed in fountain pen by Hamilton. In fine condition, with toning and creasing to program page. RRAuction COA.
