Two items: glossy 8 x 10 photo of Fairbanks dressed as Sinbad, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip “To Tommy McCabe, from Douglas Fairbanks, Jr; and a TLS to McCabe, one page, 4.25 x 6.5, personal letterhead, January 17, 1983. In full: “I find that some people who write to me come up with copies of old photos that I have never seen—which intrigues me to no end. Would you be so kind as to tell me where I could find—or order—copies of photos like these I have autographed for you? I would be most appreciative.” In fine condition, with a paperclip impression to the top of both, light toning to top of the photo, and mild scattered impressions to the center of the photo.
