Eight one-page TLSs from Duryea to a young admirer, dating from 1958 to 1963, all on Duryea’s personal letterhead. One reads, in part; “I’m glad you liked Six Black Horses. It is a good picture—well done…I cannot let the public in on Your First Impression—it is top secret. We are even whisked in the studio from a parking lot so nobody can see us.”; two vintage 8 x 10 photos, each signed and inscribed in blue ink; three unsigned vintage glossy 10 x 8 promotional photos for six Black Horses; a comic book cover from six Black Horses, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint; a small sheet of four candid images, and several reminder cards written in the collector’s hand. In overall very good condition. RRAuction COA.
