Sorry, I can’t go on like that, I just got carried away. It is really very kind of you, and I should have said so before, if I hadn’t thought Daff was writing you a full-length ode. So easy to say ‘I can’t let you have a bottle of rum,’ and then forget about it, which is the sort of thing I do myself too often. We thank you therefore, for all three: the kind thought, the execution, and the rum.” Milne’s brief postscript reads, “P.S.
