Handwritten endorsement on an off-white 7.25 x 4.5 slip, most likely clipped from a larger document, dated July 22, 1774. Sears writes: “Received…of Mr. Paschal Smith forty six pound on acct of the late Company of Mssrs. Aspinwall & Smith.” In very good condition, with several pencil notations and remnants, scattered light toning and soiling, and a rough right edge. RRAuction COA.
