Description

U2 signs in 1983 while promoting their politically-charged War album

Green canvas vest, featuring a button front, two pockets, and a waist strap, signed on the reverse in red felt tip, “Edge,” “Larry,” “Adam,” and “Bono 83,” adding “Barasley not for me.” In fine condition, with all signatures a shade or two light, but still completely legible. An exceptionally early set of large signatures obtained as the band was supporting their first gold record, War, featuring their iconic song, ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday.’ Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
