Howe writes: “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord,” signing underneath, “Julia Ward Howe, Born in New York City—May 27th 1819.” Two vertical folds, one through a single letter of signature, uniform toning, a bit of light soiling, and light show-through from a strip of mounting remnant to reverse top edge, otherwise fine condition.
