New York, Pittsburgh, and Chicago Railway Company First Mortgage Bond for $1000, #514, Series A, 10.25 x 14.25, signed at the conclusion in ink as secretary, “James S. Negley, Jr.” Also signed by the president and treasurer. Bond includes two attached sheets of thirty-dollar bond certificates, 77 in total, each bearing a number on the reverse, with three missing (numbers 1–3) from the bottom of the first sheet.
