Description

Meir signs her name below the famed image of Harry Truman proudly displaying a famously inaccurate newspaper headline

Unique 11 x 8.5 paperstock photo of Harry Truman joyfully holding up the notoriously incorrect November 3, 1948, headline on the Chicago Tribune the day after Truman beat challenger, Thomas E. Dewey, for the presidency, bearing a First Day of Issue postmark and three stamps in the bottom right corner, signed in the bottom left corner in felt tip, “Golda Meir.” In fine condition, with light toning along the edges. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
