“There was a group called ‘The Jokers’...they were laying it down, Doncha know I’d never lose that funky sound”

Handwritten souvenir lyrics to ‘Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo,’ on a musically-lined 8.5 x 11 sheet. Derringer pens the title, “R & R Hoochie Koo,’ By: Rick Derringer,” and the first verse to the classic: “I couldn’t stop movin’ when it first took hold, It was a warm spring night at the old Town Hall, There was a group called ‘The Jokers’…they were laying it down, Doncha know I’d never lose that funky sound, Rock & Roll Hoochie Koo,” signed below and adding the date “1/20/1998.” In fine condition, with three binder holes to the left edge.
