William Shockley

American physicist (1910–1989) and, more controversially, eugenicist, who won the 1956 Nobel Prize in Physics for his development of the transistor. Original ink sketch of transistor on an off-white 5 x 3 card, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “For Kris, W=Shockley 19 Mar 83.” In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
