In part: “I have to thank you very sincerely for your friendly note…I had a pretty severe attack of the Grip; but all unfavorable symptoms have disappeared; and I am suffering now only from weakness—but am daily gaining increased strength. If the weather were more pleasant I think the doctor would let me go out.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
