Two color portrait paintings (evidently painted over carte-de-visite images), 2.5 x 4, one featuring a likeness of George Washington, and the other of Martha. George’s portrait bears the title, “Ambrose Jackson, Artist, N. Y.” on the reverse, along with a small Mitchell & Seixas clipping affixed above the name. In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
