Randolph was responsible for organizing the March on Washington in 1963, the event at which Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his ‘I Have a Dream’ speech. Vintage glossy 7.75 x 9.75 head-and-shoulders photo, signed in blue ballpoint, “May 22, 1969, Sincerely, A. Phillip Randolph.” In very good condition, with scattered light creasing and surface marks, two surface impressions passing through the facial area, light toning, and lightly irregular ink adhesion to the signature.
