Two items: an FDC, with a cachet honoring the 50th anniversary of the Boy Scouts, signed under the stamp in blue ink, “J. Edgar Hoover”; and a one-page TLS, 8 x 10.25, FBI letterhead, dated April 18, 1952. Short letter reads, in part: “It is a pleasure to autograph the first day cover which you enclosed.” In fine condition, with uniform toning and some light soiling to letter. RRAuction COA.
