In very good condition, with light toning and rubbing to the pages, some stray ink marks, notations in another hand on various pages, hinge separated, and cover worn, but intact. Collected during a trip to California over the summer of 1937, a notation on the inside front cover gives some amusing provenance: “Year of 1937. Bill’s graduation gift, a wonderful trip to Calif with friends, many…spent collecting autographs [of fam]ous stars of that era!” William ‘Lefty’ McLaughlin set off to star gaze with a few friends after high school graduation; two photos from that vacation are affixed to the beginning and end of the book.
