Signers are: A. P. Fairfield, R. L. Maxwell, Edward A. Duff, J. J. Broshek, Timothy J. Keleher, F. A. Todd, L. S. Pamperin, G. F. Hussey, Jr., John S. Merriman, Jr., James Pine, C. A. Pownall, J. L. Collins, A. J. McChrystal, Hugh J. Knerr, W. F. Tompkins, LeRoy Lutes, Dorothy L. Fernsler, and two others; a calling card, 3 x 1.5, signed in ink on the reverse, “Russell L. Maxwell, Major General USA”; a newspaper clipping, 13.5 x 9, dated December 24, 1944, featuring the headline, “Safely Moored in Comfortable Harbor,” signed in black felt tip by Rear Admiral F. A. Todd; two ink signatures, “H. B. Sallada” and “Donald H. Connolly, Major General U. S. Army,” on individual off-white 5 x 3 cards; and one postcard. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, toning, and a few rusty staple marks to some letters, rusty staple marks to the cards, one passing through the middle of Maxwell’s signature, and irregularly trimmed edges to the newspaper clipping.
