In a letter of thanks, Plunkett writes, in full: “On returning from a visit to San Francisco I found the still of myself with Ginger which you had sent. I did not have that one, and am ever grateful that you had given it to me.” In fine condition, with a horizontal mailing fold passing through the signature.
