Troubled British boxer (1928-1966) who took the middleweight title from Sugar Ray Robinson in 1951 (then lost it two months later in a rematch). After a steady decline in his career and finances, Turpin shot his four year old daughter, Carmen, and himself, in 1966. Carmen survived. Vintage 3.25 x 5.25 cardstock photo, signed in fountain pen.
