In part, “I am very sorry to learn of your father’s death…Your father and I were very warm friends, and I was glad that he remained in the office as Clerk of the Court until his death. He was a faithful, honest, intelligent public servant.” In fine condition, with a bit of scattered light soiling. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
