A Pinkerton’s National Detective Agency wanted poster, 8.5 x 11, offering a $250 reward for George Bogart wanted for embezzlement. Poster shows an image of Bogart’s face, a sample of his handwriting, as well as a printed physical description. Bottom states “If arrested, charge with embezzlement of $8500.00 from the city of Evanston, Cook Co., Ill., on or about July 9, 1897.” Intersecting storage folds, punch hole and pencil notation to top right, and a uniform shade of mild toning, otherwise fine condition.
