Printed commemorative poem entitled ‘Brothers in the Eternal Cold’ by Archibald MacLeish, one page, 8 x 11. Poem written to commemorate man’s first trip to the moon concludes: “To see the earth as it truly is, small and blue and beautiful in that eternal silence where it floats, is to see ourselves as riders on the earth together, brothers on that bright loveliness in the eternal cold—brothers who know now they are truly brothers.” Signed in the border in black felt tip, “Al Worden, Apollo 15.” Page also bears a First Day Issue of an Apollo stamp, postmarked Kennedy Space Center, August 2, 1971.
