This 17-article treaty was opened for signature in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union (the three depository governments) on January 27, 1967, and the Treaty entered into force on October 10, 1967. Signed in black felt tip, “Charles Conrad Apollo XII,” and in green felt tip, “Dick Gordon.” Treaty also bears two 1969 postal cancellations, a First Day of Issue stamp and a ten-cent commemorative First Man on the Moon postage stamp.
