In full: “I return you my thanks for your interesting work which I shall read (I trust) with much pleasure & instruction. I have presented the other copy to the Royal Society whose thanks will be communicated to you by their foreign secretary.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, uniform toning, and a small area of paper loss to second integral page.
