Vic Janowicz

Halfback for the Washington Redskins who played college football at Ohio State University and won the Heisman Trophy in 1950. During training camp in 1956, he suffered a serious brain injury in an automobile accident that left him partially paralyzed and ended his athletic career. Action 8 x 10 cardstock photo of Janowicz on the verge of a pass, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “To Ron–Best regards always, Vic Janowicz, OSU.” Light surface creasing and marks, and a faint paperclip impression to the middle of the top edge, otherwise fine condition.
