TLS signed “T. Roosevelt,” one page, 8.25 x 6.25, Republican State Committee letterhead, October 24, 1898. Brief letter to Charles W. Wood. In full: “I thank you heartily. I shall see about that.” Written at the top of the letter in an unknown hand is “On Board Special Train.” Matted and framed with a photo of Roosevelt and his staff posing on the caboose of a train to an overall size of 24 x 11.5.
