In full: “I am enclosing you the old V.P’s picture along with a real rat chaser.” Under his signature, Truman adds a handwritten postscript, “Hope the plane landed right side up. I guess it did or I’d have heard.” In fine condition, with a uniform shade of toning and a bit of trivial foxing.
