Description

The Fab Four autograph their debut album after a 1963 concert

Please Please Me album signed on the back cover in blue ballpoint, “John Lennon,” and “Ringo Starr,” and in black ballpoint, “Paul McCartney xxx,” and “George Harrison xxx.” The back cover has benefitted from tasteful and unobtrusive professional cleaning, and the album is in very good to fine condition, with uniform mild toning and some scattered light creases to back cover, and creasing and soiling to front cover. The record is not included. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks stating that the “autographs were obtained at the Gaumont Cinema, Worcester, England on September 4th, 1963.” Any album signed by all four members is highly desirable, with only roughly 75 signed copies of this title known to exist. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
