Greenish-blue bodied Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, signed on the white pickguard in black felt tip. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo stating McCartney signed “for a fan in New York City in 1995. Guitars signed by any member of the Beatles are rare and desirable. This is a nice example of a McCartney signed guitar, as he will not signed [sic] them anymore.” According to Caiazzo’s letter, the pickguard was originally on a Fender Squier Bullet Strat, which was then transferred to this guitar at a later time. Any instrument signed by a member of the Fab Four is scarce, particularly on such an iconic make of guitar. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
