Flight-flown Fliteline medal, gold colored, measuring one inch in diameter, originally belonging to astronaut Charlie Duke, who was a member of the Mission Control Team for Gemini 12 monitoring the booster systems. One side bears a raised image of the mission insignia, with the other side engraved “Gemini Twelve, November 11–15, 1966,” and was flown aboard the Gemini 12 capsule. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Duke, stating this medallion “is from my personal collection of space artifacts and has been in my possession since receiving it shortly after the mission…As a member of the Astronaut Office, I was permitted to purchase a medal from all of the missions.” In fine condition, with expected light wear.
