TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, November 22, 1915. Letter of invitation to Colonel Edwin Stevens. In part: “I wonder if you would be free to come down to a sort of impromptu class dinner at the White House on Tuesday next…It would give me a great deal of pleasure if you could…I want to see as many of the fellows together as possible.” Scattered soiling and light surface marks, otherwise fine condition.
